Mahatma Gandhi Centenary School has completed its 50 Golden Years of educating the young boys and girls of Bondel and the surrounding hamlets. Until its inception in the year 1970 the children specially those of the lower middle class families were deprived of high school education as there were no high schools in the vicinity.
