A word to the Parents

  • Keep a watch on the child’s habits and rectify the mistakes immediately. Encourage them to keep good company.
  • 80% attendance is compulsory to write the board exams.
  • Please monitor their Internet usage and allow them to watch only suitable programs.
  • Encourage your child to express herself/himself in public. It would boost their morale.
  • Parents should see that their child comes to school with only the necessary books, stationery and ID card etc and nothing else.
  • Keep a check on the contents of your child’s belongings and ensure they do not carry any objectionable materials to school/college
  • Cell phones, watches, cameras and other such gadgets are not allowed in school.
  • Please check the school/college bag and diary daily.
  • Parents/Guardians should regularly check the remarks column in the diary and sign it promptly.
  • Parents must cooperate with the school/college in inculcating the values of discipline, punctuality and regularity in studies.
  • Parents are requested to come to school on open house day and whenever called by the school/college authorities.
  • Please pay the school /college fees on time. Please give an advance application to obtain any document from school/college.
  • Application should be given in writing for any leave taken and a medical certificate should be attached for leave taken on medical grounds.
  • Half day is strictly not allowed for students except in case of sickness.
  • Students are not allowed to remain absent on the reopening day.
  • Do not allow your child to drive vehicles without license.
  • Private tuitions are not encouraged and the teachers are not allowed to take tuitions for students whom they teach. Spend quality time with your child and take their studies yourself as far as possible.
  • Parents who send their ward by auto rickshaws should see that the rickshaw carries only five students as per the RTO norms and should also have registered themselves with the school office. The school authority will not be held responsible for any mishaps by private vehicles.
  • Remedial classes are compulsory for the weaker students.
  • Parents, guardians, ex-students and visitors are forbidden to go to the classes to see the students or interview their teachers during school/college hours without the permission of headmistress/principal.

Disciplinary Rules For Students

These rules are by no means exhaustive. They may be amended, modified or annulled as and when the management feels it necessary for the smooth and effective functioning of the school. Ignorance of these rules is not an excuse for its breach.

  • Great stress is laid on punctuality, regular attendance and discipline. Students are expected to be in their class room by 8:30 am.
  • Absence without prior permission on the first day after any vacation and the last day of the class is a serious offence. The same applies to important days such as 15th August and 26th January.
  • To safeguard the name of the school/college, students must show exemplary conduct both in and outside the school/college. Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, objectionable moral influence or a week’s inexcusable absence and above all discourtesy or disrespect to teachers are sufficient causes for dismissal.
  • Students suffering from contagious diseases will not be admitted to school /college unless they bring a fitness certificate from a regional medical officer.
  • Scribbling on walls, desks and books is strictly forbidden. Any damage done to the school /college property has to be made good. The decision of the Headmistress/Principal regarding the amount to be paid is final.
  • All are expected to speak English in school/college.
  • It is obligatory for students to participate in all curricular activities including Annual day, games, sports and other competitions. Practices for it are compulsory. No one will be excused, except for grave reasons.
  • When students move along the corridors or when they change classes, they must walk in silence and should always keep to the left. The teachers in the class should be the last to leave.
  • No books, (other than those required for class work) newspapers or periodical may be brought to school /college without the permission of the Headmistress/Principal.
  • It is not advisable for students to have money or valuable articles with them. The school /college will not be responsible for books, money or articles that are lost.
  • Collection for any purpose, whatsoever, requires the Principal’s sanction and all accounts of the same must be handed over to the Headmistress/Principal.
  • Students are forbidden to give their teachers individual or collective presents.
  • Any communication (request or complaint) made by the parents should be addressed to the Headmistress/Principal and not to the class teacher; all correspondence from the school /college to the parents or guardians must go through the Principal / Headmistress.
  • No one is allowed to send a student home or to leave the school /college premises without the permission of the Principal / Headmistress.
  • Last but not the least sponsors are most welcome to sponsor prizes, trophies, scholarship to the deserving students in any field.
